 Yes, the stores are fully compliant for downloadable products e.g. eBooks, music, video, etc….

 I want to sell my items securely, so can I have a ‘padlock’ on my site for secure transactions?

 Yes but this does cost extra. This is because we need to set your site up the website so it encrypts the session with a digital certificate and we have to give your hosting its own unique IP address. Once this is done, the website URL begins with https:// instead of http:// and you will see something similar to this in your browser bar -For more details on costs, please email us.

 Are,there add-ons to the basic business like you offer on your other listings?

 Yes, there a range of add-ons: some are free and some that need to be paid for. We offer to recommend add-ons for you and to install them at extra cost. For more details on costs, please email us.

 What happens next after I ‘Buy it now’?

 We will send you some easy to follow ordering instructions upon completion of the sale. The details you provide us will be used to set up your store.

 I already have a domain name, can I still purchase the store?

 Yes, we will provide you with our name servers upon completing your order. You should then update your settings with your domain name provider to point at our nameservers.

 Are there any hidden costs with the package on offer?

 No, all costs are mentioned on the listing here. Your hosting account can be upgraded to a different package at a later date and additional costs may apply, however as a starter package no further costs will apply.

 I want to start selling online but I’m not technically minded. I’m concerned that I won’t be able to administer the shop to its full potential. Can you help?

 I don’t have a PayPal or other supported payment gateway account. Are there any payment gateways?

There are a number of different payment gateways provided on the business, however since Paypal and some other supported payment gateways are free to sign up for, these are generally the best payment gateways to start off with.

 Should my customers be worried about the security of their data?

 Their personal details will be stored on a database only accessible by you. The payment details are securely stored by the payment gateway operator. You do not see or store the customer’s payment details which will provide additional peace of mind to your customers. You can also purchase a SSL certificate and hosting for additional security at extra cost [please see above]

 Do I get everything I need with the store to start selling?

 Yes. You get a logo, privacy policy, terms and conditions……absolutely everything you need to begin selling your products.
